The Chairman of Unipol, Enea Mazzoli, is appointed member of the executive committee of ANIA (Associazione Nazionale delle Imprese Assicuratrici, National Association of Insurance Companies). The Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Giovanni Consorte is appointed Chairman of the Technical Section for general liability insurance. In the past, representatives of Unipol were part, with specific assignments, of the technical sections, but for a specific choice of the Company, no one had ever joined the executive committee of ANIA. The position reached by Unipol and the role that the Company plays in the market have made necessary a review of the position taken in the past maturing the decision to enter the governing body of ANIA.
