On 28 November, it is agreed between Unipol and the trade unions that the Bylaws of the pension and social security fund should be amended in order to adapt it to the rules introduced by Legislative Decree No. 124/93 for supplementary pension schemes. Following these changes, “Cassa di previdenza ed assistenza dei dipendenti delle imprese assicurative del Gruppo Unipol” (Employees’ pension and social security fund of insurance companies in the Unipol Group” becomes “Fondo Pensione Dipendenti Gruppo Unipol” (Pension Fund of Employees in the Unipol Group). The Company contributes to funding the supplementary pension scheme through payment of an annual contribution to the Pension Fund, for the benefit of each employee.
