Cinzio Zambelli, honorary Chairman of Unipol dies in the afternoon of Thursday, October 17, of a heart attack that had struck him a few days earlier as he was preparing to attend a meeting at the Unipol headquarters. After joining the Board of Directors of the Company in 1964 and becoming Chief Executive Officer in 1971, Cinzio Zambelli played a leading role with tenacity, passion, intelligence and competence, first in the revival of Unipol and then, helping to build a solid and fruitful alliance with trade union organizations and self-employed workers by strengthening and developing what was to become the sixth insurance Company in the Country.
