In 1999, there are over 3,700,000 Unipol customers. They are essentially cooperative companies, employed workers, and self-employed workers, whose relationship with Unipol is often “mediated” through their trade organizations. Unipol maintains constant relations with the various categories of each partner organization (CGIL, CISL, UIL, CNA, CIA, CONFESERCENTI, and LEGACOOP), which materializes in entering specific agreements at the national, regional, local and corporate levels. A continuous and fruitful debate with the main consumer associations has long been in place in order to ensure timely and reliable answers to users’ rights to assert a modern and transparent insurance service.
