The incorporation meeting of the Foundation Cesar takes place on 15 June 1990. The acronym CESAR stands for Centro Europeo Studi Assicurativi e Ricerche (European organization for insurance studies and research). The objective of the Foundation is to promote in-depth debate on the role of insurance among industry operators, consumer organizations and academic and research institutions at a time of heightened vulnerability of the economic and social system. The Chairman is Hon. Nevio Felicetti, the Deputy Chairman is Hon. Fabrizio Cicchitto, and the Secretary General is Giancarlo Brunello of the Unipol Assicurazioni Chairmanship.
