On 18 June 1996, the ISVAP Measure authorizing Linear to provide insurance coverage is approved - which starts exactly on the following 1 July, with a limited trial phase in an area of northern Italy: at first, only the provincial district of Bergamo then, in succession, the regions of Lombardy, Veneto and Piedmont.
