On 15 June, it is agreed between Unipol and the trade unions to set up a new social security Fund having only social security purposes. All non-executive workers employed by the Company under permanent contracts as of 24.04.1993 can join the fund, which will have the aim of ensuring that employees of the Unipol Group’s insurance companies obtain the health care treatment provided by the corporate and national bargaining agreements. It is also agreed that the operating costs of the Fund should be fully borne by the Company.
