In 2007, out of the three working groups set forth under the agreement with the French partners in November 2006, the one relating to the issues of bancassurance is activated: there are numerous visits from representatives of Macif and Maif to Unipol Banca, also accompanied by a senior officer of the same Caisse d’Epargne. The table dedicated to trade in the field of supplementary health care also begins its work with the visit of Unisalute to Macif Mutualité. The company Sèréna Maif in Niort is also visited. It specializes in the provision of social security services in support of victims of serious accidents. The third table, one dedicated to products and sales networks, is limited to a single meeting with the heads of marketing of the two mutual companies.

A workshop on the dual theme of Solvency II and IFRS (International Financial Reporting System) is launched at the request of DEVK and Macif. The facilitators are Giovanna Benedetti of Unipol for the IFRS part and Gottfried Rüßmann, managing director of the German mutual, for the part dedicated to Solvency II.
