With the establishment of Unipol Gruppo Finanziario, the Foundation initiates a repositioning strategy. Thus the Foundation Unipolis is established. With the amendment to the Bylaws, Unipolis becomes the corporate foundation of the Unipol Group, of which it is one of the instruments for the implementation of social and civil responsibility initiatives, as part of its sustainability strategy. The non-profit Foundation pursues scientific and cultural research, promotion of safety and social inclusion, both through direct projects and in partnership with other players in the community, and through the provision of financial resources to actions of solidarity. The key areas of activity are four: culture, research, safety and legality, solidarity. Pierluigi Stefanini is appointed Chairman, Enea Mazzoli is appointed Honorary Chairman; Walter Dondi is appointed managing director.
