The punch-card Office is an important part of DPC and the increase in the Company’s business brings the department workforce up to 23/25 people.

Theyr job is to transfer the data contained in paper documents mainly produced by agencies and claims adjustment offices (policies and adjustments, cash registers, complaints and claims payments, etc.) to punch-cards, according to a predetermined path.

These cards are read by the computer via a dedicated reader and processed as determined by the programs, upgrading magnetic archives (first magnetic tape, later magnetic disks) to produce all the required documents in print.
