On 14 July, the Board of Directors adopts the first measures in accordance with the guidelines laid down at the first Business Planning Conference that has just been held. The Commercial Service is created, which in addition to assuming the function hitherto performed by the External Organization and Development Service, will have more extensive powers to achieve the Company’s productive and organizational expansion objectives. The adjusters who make up the service are divided into five specialized groups: technical, organizational, life, promotional and managerial-administrative. The first manager of the Service is Antonio Cilia.
