Unipol celebrates the twentieth anniversary
For its twentieth anniversary, Unipol decides to launch a series of initiatives with the intent to underline some aspects that are peculiar to it: its social origins and its being a service enterprise not aiming at speculation.
On the occasion, a specific label is created: “1963 - 1983 20 years of Unipol. The other insurance”. In May Unipol launches a bi-monthly magazine “Unipolis” with the intent to expand the horizon of its publications to all the problems of the Italian insurance industry, often little known, and to make them the subject of public debate. The magazine is directed by journalist Roberto Scardova and hosts prestigious collaborators such as Omar Calabrese and important names of Italian social and economic journalism. During the year Unipol organizes, in Bologna, a major conference of general interest entitled “Management of environmental protection: problems and needs” with the patronage of the Ministry of Labor.
