Unipol acquires insurance investments in Spain

In the framework of collaborative agreements reached with the Spanish cooperative movement, in July 1989 Unipol acquires two insurance holdings in Spain: a 70% stake in the capital of Seguros Lagun Aro Vida, a company that in late 1989 obtained the authorization to provide Life insurance coverage, and a 30% stake in the capital of Seguros Lagun Aro, a Company that has been working in the Non-Life business for years, both based in Arechabaleta, in the Basque country.
