As part of its three-year sustainability plan Unipol Gruppo Finanziario has decided to pursue a strategy of sponsorship linking the brand to projects covering three major areas:  protecting the environment, supporting young people and sport and enhancing the value of culture and heritage.

Support for one of the main cultural events of the season falls within this last category. In fact from 22 September to 30 January 2011 the Group will besponsoring the exhibition 'The dream is closer', which marks the return of the painter Salvador Dalí to Milan after an absence of more than fifty years.

The event, promoted by the Municipality of Milan and produced by Palazzo Reale together with 24 ORE Cultura – GRUPPO 24 ORE, has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation of Figueres and the most important international museums and presents over 50 works which explore the relationship between the artist’s painting and the landscape.

For the first time ever, the Mae West Room will be recreated especially for the exhibition as it was imagined by Dalí himself: a remarkable contemporary installation. The exhibition also features Destino (Destiny), the short film by Salvador Dalí and Walt Disney, never shown before in Italy.
