Unipol Assicurazioni - Confirmed confidence in the Area General Manager, Carlo Cimbri

Unipol Assicurazioni read today in the newspapers about its Area General Manager, Mr Carlo Cimbri, being entered under formal investigation by the Public Prosecutor in Milan, in the framework of the inquiry on the Public Tender Offer for BNL launched by Unipol some time ago.
While expressing astonishment on the way this information reached the interested party and the Company, Unipol Assicurazioni confirms its confidence in Mr Cimbri and is convinced that he will be proved as not being involved with the alleged crime.
