Unipol Group to participate in the Sustainable Development Festival

The second edition of the Italian Sustainable Development Festival is just around the corner. The initiative, to be held across Italy from 22 May to 7 June, includes more than 600 events throughout the country and is organised by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS). With over 180 members, it is the largest network of civil society organisation ever created in the country to promote a culture of sustainability and raise awareness about the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and the 17 sustainable development goals signed by Italy in September 2015.

The Festival is the largest initiative organised in Italy on the challenges of our times: poverty, employment education, inequality, healthcare, energy, infrastructure, international cooperation, environment, city and innovation.

Again this year, the 17 days of the Festival – one for each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals – will come to life with all kinds of events, including conferences, workshops, exhibitions, concerts and more.

The 2018 edition will also be enriched by initiatives aimed at involving all generations so as to generate ideas and proposals, promote good practices and discuss how Italy can position itself on a path of sustainable development and help make sure that Europe and the world are committed to implementing the 2030 Agenda, with a view to changing our future for the better.
