Unipol Group sponsor of the Bologna Jazz Festival

The Unipol Group renews its support as sponsor of the Bologna Jazz Festival, this year in its eleventh edition, scheduled from 5 to 20 November, with other related events planned for as early as 27 October.   

 

For the first time, the Festival’s opening night on 5 November (the first of a series of concerts in theatres) will be held at the Unipol Auditorium at Via Stalingrado 37, with a not to be missed performance by The Cookers (with, among others, Billy Harper, George Cables, Cecil McBee and Billy Hart). The auditorium will also stage another amazing performance on 8 November by the all-star quartet Aziza.  

 

This year’s festival is characterised by a mix of pure jazz, contemporary music and international sounds (Latin, African) in a creative experimental tone: an uninterrupted program of concerts, master classes and other events for a full immersion in international and Italian jazz life.
