Unipol Assicurazioni - Sale of the stake in Antonveneta

It is hereby communicated that today Unipol Assicurazioni, pursuant to ABN AMRO NV’s request, sold 10,856,573 Antonveneta’s shares to the Dutch bank at a unit price of € 26.5, for a total amount of € 287.7m. The sale of the aforesaid shares, carried out by way of a transaction on the blocktrading market, allowed the Company a capital gain of € 62.1m.
