Unipol Assicurazioni - Sale of the BNL stake: amendment

As a partial amendment to the press release issued on 3 April 2006, concerning the sale by Unipol and its subsidiary Aurora Assicurazioni of the ordinary shares held in Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A. (BNL) to BNP Paribas S.A., it is hereby communicated that the total amount resulting from the BNL shares sold by Aurora Assicurazioni was €428m instead of €478m, as erroneously disclosed in the aforesaid press release.
