San Francesco secondary school has opened in Massawa, Eritrea. It is a large complex that houses 640 pupils and is run by the Capuchin friars led by Father Protasio Delfini.

This school, a real investment for the future of the city of Massawa and its young people, has been entirely financed by Italians (both individuals and associations), with Unipol Gruppo Finanziario providing the equipment for a computer room: as many as 100 personal computers, delivered with the help of BiTeB, Banco Informatico, Tecnologico e Biomedico and the social organisation 'Pace Adesso' (Peace Now).

The initiative is only one of many social projects in which Unipol Gruppo Finanziario, continuously aware of social responsibility and its ethos, is involved.
