Basketball Supercup

As part of the Title Sponsorship agreement with LBA, UnipolSai Assicurazioni will be the “Presenting Sponsor” of the Italian 2021 Supercup, the competition that will officially open the new 2021/2022 season scheduled at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno.

UnipolSai will also bestow the prestigious MVP, Most Valuable Player, award to the best player of the 2021 Supercup.

The 4 seeds (the finalists of the Serie A championship and the finalists of the Italian Cup or the best semi-finalists of the two competitions) will face the winning teams of the 4 qualifying round-robin groups.

The formula of the event requires the quarter-finals to be played on Saturday, 18 September, the semi-finals to be played on Monday, 20 September, while the final match is scheduled for Tuesday, 21 September.
