Claudia Merlino

Born in Rome in 1971

A graduate in Philosophy from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome

She began working for the Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori (Italian Confederation of Farmers) in 2003, an organisation in which she held a number of different managerial positions, culminating in her appointment as General Manager between 2019 and 2022.

She has held various management positions and memberships of the Board of Directors of, among others: A.N.C.C.A. (National Association of Agricultural Contract Farmers), CIA Imprese, Immobiliare Monteverde and CIA Servizi Nazionale.

From 2004 to 2007 she was a Member of the Steering and Supervisory Board of INAIL.

She is currently:

• Economic Division Manager of Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori;
• Director of FISA (Health Care Fund for Agricultural and Floricultural Workers);
• Member of the Management Committee of E.B.A.N. (National Agricultural Bilateral Agency);
• Deputy Chairman of G.E.O.P.A. (Group of Employers of Professional Agricultural Organisations of the European Union) within COPA (Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations of the European Community);
• Since 2022, Director of Unipol Gruppo S.p.A.
