Clarifications on news issued by the press

With reference to the news issued today by the press agency 'ANSA', it is hereby clarified that Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A. has not presented, nor does it intend to present, any offer for the acquisition of shareholdings in Banca delle Marche S.p.A. share capital.
