On 24 June, a complete draft of the agencies mechanization is presented and Uniservice S.p.A. is incorporated with 99% of the shares to the Company and 1% to the Agents Group. Uniservice is formed for the leasing of computers or communications networks, providing Unipol with a data transmission service to the agency network and the claims settlement centers. It also owns the PCs and printers kept at the agencies. Towards the end of the year, a first group of private agencies connects via terminals with the data center in Bologna.
