On 9 February, an agreement is signed which, based on previous experiences judged to be positive, states that 50% of the hires included in the budget for the current year should be under a work training contract. These new hires will be made with contractual conditions up to the specialist level. Together with the agreement, a training project for the relevant professional positions and criteria for recruitment are outlined between the trade union organizations and Unipol. These are channels where new recruits come from:

  • People enrolled as unemployed for at least six months;
  • Lists of graduates in the years ‘ 85 and ‘ 86;
  • Company rankings.

With regard to the training project, particular attention is devoted to the teaching methods and specific training contents in regard of the business activity and insurance industry.
