On 15 May, ICIF, International Cooperative Insurance Federation, representatives congregate in Bologna to show the solidarity that exists in the Cooperative Insurance Movement operating in 35 countries on five continents. At such event a commemorative plaque is placed in the lobby of the headquarters bearing the following text in English and Italian: “On this day, May 15th 1981, the representatives of the International Cooperative Insurance Federation affiliated to the International Cooperative Alliance, assembled here in demonstration of the solidarity existing within the Insurance Cooperative Movement, present in 35 countries of the world”.
