Unipol acquires the control of the Group Fondiaria SAI

On 19 July, Unipol carries out a capital increase of Premafin for the portion reserved for Unipol. Premafin and its subsidiary Finadin simultaneously sign the Fondiaria SAI capital increase necessary to restore the proper solvency margin. As a result of these transactions, Unipol becomes the controlling shareholder of Premafin with a stake of the share capital amounting to about 81%, and consequently acquires control of the Fondiaria SAI Group.
