An exceptional monographic exhibition dedicated to the great French master Claude Monet, leader of the amazing impressionist season alongside Manet, Renoir, Degas, Pissarro, Sisley and Cézanne.

The Musée d’Orsay has lent the GAM - Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino - more than forty masterpieces, some of which for the first time in Italy, such as the famous Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe.

The works on display document the career of the master, showing some of the most significant moments and turns that, starting from the beginning, led the artist to become the father of Impressionism.

The exhibition, which opens on 2 October and ends on 31 January 2016, was organised thanks to the cooperation between the Unipol Group, main sponsor, and Fondazione Torino Musei
