Through its network of claims adjusters, Unipol Assicurazioni is in fact working to check the damage suffered by customers quickly as possible in order to accelerate the compensation formalities.
The operation is not limited to the adjustment and settlement of claims, but it includes support to customers in resuming their work activities as soon as possible, trying to minimize the damage suffered. In the field of MV TPL, the block of prices is applied. Moreover, for customers affected by the earthquake in the most violent way the rate is reduced by 10% both for renewals and for new policies. On the banking side, Unipol Banca has allocated two credit lines totaling € 25m for loans at a subsidized rate to households, economic operators and businesses affected by the earthquake. Between June and November, the payment of installments relating to 2,926 loans has also been suspended automatically. The most important contribution has been that of employees and agents thanks to a major in-house fundraising that exceeded € 500,000. Faced with such a gesture of solidarity, the Group chooses to double the sum, thus reaching € 1m and 108 thousand euro, which will be used for the recovery of the Casa della Salute in Finale Emilia.
