With reference to the proposed capital increase of Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A. (“UGF”) and Fondiaria-SAI S.p.A. (“Fondiaria-SAI”), announced on the 29th and the 30th of January 2012 respectively, we hereby announce that UGF has appointed Mediobanca – Banca di Credito SI S.p.A. to promote, at conditions in line with market practice, the underwriting syndicate for the UGF capital increase in the context of the proposed integration of the two insurance groups.
