Unipol Assicurazioni - Resignation of a Board Member

It is hereby communicated that Mr Emilio Gnutti resigned today from the Board of Directors of Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. because of health problems.
Mr Emilio Gnutti - appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting of Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A. on 29 April 2004 - filled the post of non-executive Board Member, that is without management proxy.
