Unipol Assicurazioni: Clarifications on news published by the press: press release 1

With reference to the news published today by some newspapers concerning an alleged meeting or conversation held yesterday between the Chairman of Unipol Assicurazioni Giovanni Consorte and executives of the Bank of Italy, it is hereby stated that these news are completely groundless and it is therefore confirmed that yesterday no representatives of the Company either met or held any conversation with representatives of the aforesaid Supervisory Authority.
