This press release follows the launch of a global mandatory public tender offer (the Offer) by Compagnia Assicuratrice Unipol S.p.A. (Unipol or the Bidder) in accordance with the provisions of Articles 102, 106 (1) and 109 (1) (a) of Legislative Decree 58 of 24 February 1998 and subsequent amendments (the Consolidated Law) and of the provisions of the regulation to implement the Consolidated Law relating to issuers adopted by CONSOB in its Ruling 11971 of 14 May 1999 and subsequent amendments (the Regulation on Issuers).
