With the opening of Fiorfood, the process that began in 2012 with the acquisition by the Unipol Group can be considered complete

Galleria San Federico is once again the protagonist in the heart of Turin thanks to the significant work carried out by Unipol within the program to redevelop real estate properties in major Italian cities under the brand “Urban Up”, which sets the Unipol Group among the leaders in the field of reconstruction of buildings and urban areas in Italy.

After a period of neglect, Galleria San Federico has been finally returned to the city in less than three years thanks to significant preservation and restoration work on the commercial portion and on the offices.

The sale of space was arranged so as to distinguish the various sections of the “San Federico block” with high range and high-technology brands on the side along Via Roma where it’s possible to see the presence of Gucci, Ferragamo, Mont Blanc and the Apple Store, while on Piazza San Carlo there are Hermès, De Wan and Aspesi.

The interior of the Galleria was dedicated to varied consumer & leisure offerings with several commercial establishments, including the traditional stores in the Galleria that were preserved, a new 1,000 m 2 clothes’ shop soon to open and an innovative concept dedicated to the public: “Fiorfood”, a store of about 1,300 m2 on two floors with a supply of high-quality food, a bookstore, a starred restaurant and an important space for events.

“We have conducted the revival of the San Federico block, a key piece of the historic centre of Turin - said Massimiliano Morrone Head of Asset & Investment Management RE and SGR Immobiliare of the Unipol Group - with redevelopment works that have returned to Turin the daily use of a building which stands as a symbol of the city, with commercial offerings for everyone, ranging from leisure to quality food, convenience stores, high-end shopping establishments”.
