New training methods

In 1997, 90 courses are conducted, for a total of 2,025 participants and a total number of 5,156 man / days. Strategic projects, such as Unipol Sertel or the start-up of new specialized Group companies push for new training methods to be set alongside the traditional ones; the focus is shifting from institutional training to practical ways of learning in the workplace: form a training course to a training path. A series of meetings on the topic of safety in the workplace are organized in implementation of Legislative Decree No. 626, with a half day involving 1,400 people. The relationship of Unipol with schools continues: in fact internships are provided to 50 students of technical and commercial schools in Bologna, as well as three undergraduates in Statistical Sciences from the University of Bologna.
