Following the example of other European countries with a free market, Unipol has found it necessary to integrate its distribution strategy with the telephone channel, to use its skills. Linear (Compagnia Assicuratrice Linear S.p.A.) is incorporated on 27 March at the extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders that approves the amendment of company’s name so far called Directa. Its strategy is structured on two aspects: wide customization of rates and great attention to quality of service. The Linear offer is in particular addressed to experienced and prudent motorists who have been driving for many years without incident, and represent the majority of Italian policyholders.
