Launch of the Unipol vaccine plan
With the aim of speeding up the national vaccination campaign against Covid-19, the Unipol Group prepared a vaccine plan for all the employees of the Unipol Group, their family members, agents and agency employees in coordination with the applicable national and regional institutions. This is the first vaccine plan developed by a company to cover the entire national territory.
The campaign was officially launched today: the UniSalute vaccine hub was opened in Bologna with the attendance of General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, the Chief Executive Officer and Group CEO of the Unipol Group, Carlo Cimbri, the Chairperson of the Unipol Group, Pierluigi Stefanini and regional and local officials.
This initiative was organised by UniSalute and is also aimed at leading Italian businesses - companies, banks or healthcare funds who have requested it - to speed up the relaunch of our country.

- Unipol is the first Italian company to implement an active vaccine plan over the whole country.
- Potential uptake by over 800 thousand people with about 200 vaccine centres being set up throughout Italy, along with four specialist hubs and one mobile unit.
- The aim of the initiative is to speed up the national anti Covid-19 vaccination campaign, and kicks off in Lazio, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Piedmont, Marche, Calabria, Sardinia, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Campania and Sicily. This will then be followed in the other Regions.
- The campaign, organised by UniSalute, the leading Unipol Group health insurance company, is directed towards the employees of the Unipol Group, the agencies and their family members.
