Managing Editor - Head of Media Relations of the Unipol Group

From editorial offices to media relations, in any case always focusing his attention on the news, Fernando Vacarini started as a journalist collaborating with the newspaper La Repubblica, where he was in charge of drafting articles for the business and finance supplement Affari&Finanza. He also collaborated with Mf Milano Finanza and Panorama Economy, and since 2004 has moved on from editorial offices to corporate communication, first as Head of the Financial Services Press Office at Allianz, a position he held for almost two years, and then as Group Press Office Coordinator. He later held the position of Deputy Head of the Corporate Press Office at Generali. At the end of 2007, he joined the Cariparma Crédit Agricole Group as Head of Media Relations of what will soon become one of the leading national banking groups. In December 2013, he returned to the insurance sector holding the position of Head of Media Relations at the Unipol Group and its subsidiaries. In this capacity, he devoted himself to the development of digital communication leading the company to taking its first steps into the world of social networks and online influencers from a corporate perspective with the aim of improving the Group’s reputation.
