17 Stories for 2030
A podcast competition focusing on imagining our possible future
Narrate stories about possible ways of transforming the world and reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. To achieve this, we have created the “17 Stories for 2030” project, a podcast-creation competition promoted by Podcastory in partnership with Fondazione Unipolis and the sponsorship of ASviS - Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.
The UN 2030 Agenda is an appeal to all countries and members of society – from the private sector to public enterprises, from civil society to journalists and cultural professionals and even down to individual citizens – to guarantee our future.
To respond to this call, Fondazione Unipolis has teamed up with Podcastory – the first Italian podcast factory – to produce an original and unique podcast series focusing on this topic by conducting 16 literary competitions that are to take place in the course of the next months. The idea is to capture and share thoughts in the community about how to transform our world according to the SDGs.
The first series of the contest discusses the topic “Poverty and inequality”, aimed at fulfilling Goals 1, 2, 5 and 10, and is open from 31 March to 10 May on the Podcastory website. The playlist received its inaugural podcast with the contribution of Unipolis Managing Director, Marisa Parmigiani, focusing on Goal 17, which is already available on the most common podcasting platforms.
