International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

116 women have been killed in Italy since the start of the year by husbands, boyfriends and former partners.

We hoped for a femicide-free year, but it has not been so.

The Unipol Group supports the elimination of violence against women and has decided to donate one euro for each policy taken out by women on 25 November.

The proceeds will be donated to the Counselling Centre for Abusive Men, which organizes re-education initiatives for men.

The Unipol Group says no to gender violence in all forms and backs the appeal launched by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Laura Boldrini, “Not in my name”, because everyone plays their part: institutions, news and the entertainment business, television, companies, schools and civil society.
