Giovanna Gigliotti appointed as new CEO of UniSalute

The Board of Directors of UniSalute S.p.A. appointed Giovanna Gigliotti as the new CEO of the Company at a meeting held today.

Giovanna Gigliotti takes over from Fiammetta Fabris who is retiring after thirty-plus years spent working with the Unipol Group.  We extend our most sincere thanks to Fiammetta for the commitment shown at both a professional and interpersonal level in her career with the Group, making an essential contribution to the development of UniSalute.

Giovanna Gigliotti, Head of Non-Life Technical Management at UnipolSai, has worked for the Unipol Group for many years, holding positions of increasing importance in numerous areas of the insurance sector.

The new CEO’s expert knowledge of the Unipol Group, its distribution networks and the insurance market in general will give added value to the professionalism and expertise that already characterise UniSalute and help towards achieving the goals of the Unipol Group 2019-2021 Industrial Plan, which inter alia calls for strong development of the healthcare sector within the broader framework of the Welfare ecosystem.

The Unipol Group is already a leader in the corporate healthcare policy sector through UniSalute and aims to become the main player in the Welfare ecosystem; it will offer, including through its agency network, innovative products and services for both people and companies through its medical and diagnostic centre network in addition to providing assistance to people who are not self-sufficient.
