Energetic Qualification
As one of the leading real estate operators in Italy in terms of asset size, we strive to continuously improve the qualification standards of our properties.
We integrate our standards with energy efficiency best practices in order to reduce the environmental impact of assets under management.
To achieve this objective, we have launched a virtuous certification cycle to manage the consumption of all buildings belonging to the Group in accordance with the ISO 50001 standard, obtaining certification for 19 buildings (in which more than 7,000 employees work) for which the Group obtained the certification of compliance and assumed the commitment to cut electricity and thermal consumption by 2% each year with respect to the previous year. The certified data in 2018 (which refer to the 2017 performances), show an overall reduction of 3.7% in consumption.
In addition to these objectives, verified annually by the certification authority, there are those for the reduction of directly related CO2 emissions per employee, outlined in the Integrated Business Plan.
